Guests were free to try any and all food and beverages they wished, as everything was included in the one low entry price. However, guests could chose to buy raffle tickets with fabulous prizes: from round-trip tickets to London courtesy of British Airways to stunning jewelry donated by Amsterdam Sauer (average raffle purchase on the night was R$30pp). In 2008, Taste of Rio was attended by about 350 members of the InC and their friends. It was a big success generating almost R$30,000 for local Rio charitable organizations, including the following:
